CubeeCraft Project

For my project I created a CubeeCraft based on the Crysis Suit in the game Crysis. I did this by finding a basic layout of master cheif, and studying how the artist uses a 3D image and applying it on a flat surface. Then I used that knowledge to make a hand drawing of a Crysis suit. Then I scanned it and opened it up in photoshop. I then figured the quality was too grainy, so I used adobe illustrator to vectorize it. Then after fixing it, I opened it with photo shop and started coloring it. I made a glare on his visor because I thought It would look cool. I think I did well on this project and it came out excellent.

My Logo Design

The goal of the assignment was to make a logo that represents yourself by scanning it and editing it in photoshop and adobe illustrator.

First I sketched ideas of logos on a piece of paper and chose one to scan. My sketch was two bananas crossed against each other. I then scanned it on the mac. Then saved it as pdf and transfered it on my flash drive. Then I opened it on photo shop and saved it as a psd. And I made it black and white by desaturizing it. So I used the threshold tool to make the lines darker and more apparent. Then I transfered it over to adobe illustrator and vectorized it. Then I used the live trace tool and went to tracing options to make the lanes smoother and less messy. After that I used the live paint bucket tool to fill in the banana with yellow. After I was finished with that I put my logo on a hat and a jacket.

I thought this assignment was fun, I got to express myself with art and make my own symbol. My favorite aspect of my work was the banana outline If I could make a new logo I would make the lines even in width so that it did not look like a drawing.

Awesome Eminem Quote

In this project i used an Eminem quote stating "I don't care if your black, white, gay, straight, bisexual, short, tall, fat, skinny, rich or poor, if you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you." I like this quote because it shows he advocates the acceptance of different people. At first I made "I don't care" the largest of all the text to show its significance in which he does not discriminate different people. Then I changed the font of where he starts listing words and made it crossed out to show the diversity of different groups of people. Then I made "If you're nice to me" the second largest thing to show how important this line is. Then I made "nice" large and bold to emphasize his points and I did the same with the following line "I'll be nice to you" to show the importance of what his quote. After that I made "simple" bold to show how easy it is to be nice to people. I thought this assignment was fun and good way to express yourself through the quotes of others.

I used copy and paste tool to make multiple CPUS for the background, then
I used the shape tool to make bacon strips and a diamond.

I used the adjustments tool to make different thresholds for each layer. Then I filled each layer with the colors yellow, red, blue, and orange. Next used the rectangular marquee tool to cut out the rough edges.
Then I filled half of the background with blue, and the other half with red. :D

I finished my animal thing I crafted with the clone stamp tool. Then I made the cover by using a sample of a National Geographic cover off the internet. And I used the magic wand tool to select the edges and the title. Next I copy and pasted that into a layer called "Cover." So then I put in my animal into this cover and made the head go over the words using the rectangular marquee tool. After that I added 3 more sub articles. Thats it folks. sweg
